I for one believe that architecture is art and I happen to be someone who loves and revels in all things art related. I have a knack for staring at buildings, landscapes and interiors with my mind going off in artsy-craftsy wonderland. I know a work of art when I see it and I'm pretty sure that SM Aura Premier is one of them.
SM Aura Premier is a shopping mall owned by SM Prime Holdings located in Bonifacio Global City. The name Aura is derived from the elements gold (Au) and radium (Ra) which when put together translates to “luxury and elegance that emanates from within.” Now whoever thought of this was plain genius. Science whiz meets posh!
True to its name, there were a lot of brands in the likes of Stuart Weitzman, Stradivarius, Suiteblanco , Palladium Boots, Rabeanco and many others. Restaurants like NBA Cafe, The Food Hall by Todd English, NIU by Vikings, Paul Boulangerie and Magnum Manila were present too with people lining up for their feast of flavors. They even have a huge Mac store! We certainly don't have these in Cebu! But more than the fancy brands and restaurants I enjoyed the place so much for its glorious interiors and because I was with people I loved.
I went here during my holiday trip after my friends Kay and Kylie invited me to try out Magnum Manila's DIY ice cream which was situated in the said mall. That experience was epic by all proportions. Of course they toured me around the vicinity after satisfying our food babies. If you follow a lot of Philippine fashion bloggers in the likes of Camille Co, David Guison and Kryz Uy, you will notice that the Sky Park in SM Aura is a particularly favorite "ootd" location. We had to part ways by dinner time so I met up with my family and continued touring around and basking myself in all the lights and grandeur. My favorite spectacles would have to be the giant dandelions, the dancing light fountains and the beautiful chapel. I'll stop talking now and let these photos speak for themselves!
