Piñatas and party poppers are two of my favorite things in any party. All that confetti and candy is too divine to just not adore, right? Who doesn't want color and sweets? Because of this, I decided to make a hybrid of the two using items that you can easily find at home alongside some recycled materials. Now without further ado, behold these DIY mini party poppers and piñata!

DIY Alice in Wonderland Photo Booth

DIY Alice in Wonderland Photo Booth
As I've mentioned before, I love an Alice in Wonderland party. I like the quirkiness of it all, the mismatched details and the peculiar characters. Simply put, I have a penchant for crazy and weird. *laughs* When my sister had her birthday party prepped to this theme, I saw to it that we had our very own photo booth that's equal parts wonky and cute. I made sure to document the process as well so I can share it with you!

DIY Alice in Wonderland Party Place Card Holders

Party place card holders should always be about style and function. They're not meant to be boring and an Alice in Wonderland party surely needs something a little colorful and out of the box. For my sister's birthday, we wanted something that's as easy as it is pretty. We didn't have a lot of time in our hands and as the White Rabbit chimes, "We're running late!" so we opted for this DIY. It only took us ten minutes tops! We all love an easy craft project, don't we? Read on for instructions!

DIY Alice in Wonderland Themed Party

Whimsical and roundabout bonkers. This is the very reason why Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is dear to me. I love the idea of this somewhat logical madness and I like how I can translate the story, the movies and their elements into quirky and playful projects. So when my sister turned eighteen last year, we decided to celebrate it through a whimsical pastel explosion of sorts.

Hi there lovelies! So in two day's time, 2013 is about to close and we'll say hello to 2014. I'm getting all excited here. How about you? To be frank, this year has been a blast for me. So much has ended (beautifully), so many begun and there were random bits of surprises here and there. So far, I could consider 2013 as my best year but then again there are more to come and I bet they would be far better than the previous ones so cheers to better days.

Back to School DIY with Washi Tape

Back to School DIY Washi Tape

The moment I saw these colorful delights, I was smitten away. You could call it love at first sight. LOL! I've been wanting to get my hands on some Washi tape this month but my budget just won't cut it. Pay day come faster, will you? Anyway, I've dabbled into some analytics these past few days. I found it so confusing at first but I'm slowly getting the hang of things. One thing that caught my eye though was the fact that majority of my readers come from the United States. To be honest I was blown away. I didn't know most of you reside in the other part of the globe. For that I'm very thankful so I decided to dedicate this blog post to you since I noticed that it's back to school season over there. To my other lovely readers who are already in the third month of the semester as is the case in my country, don't worry. These DIY ideas will still be applicable to all of you!

Father's Day Ideas: Fun Crafts

Father's Day DIY
A few days ago I posted some cute recipes to do for father's day. I must admit that I'm really having a hard time choosing which one I'll be doing come June 16th. Plus, the weather's really bad. There's full blown rain for the entire day! The sun barely peeks out. How am I supposed to do my grocery shopping? Gosh, I have to learn how to drive... soon. (Nerves go away!) Anyway I'll find a way to accomplish that but while the rain pounded outside, I decided to look for some fun crafts and projects to accompany whatever recipe my sister and I will be doing.

Father's Day Ideas: Cute Recipes

My parents are spoiled. Yes, you heard that right. A friend of mine once pointed that out to me after she discovered that I've always been doing stuff for my parents during their birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions like mother's and father's days. But, so what? I like spoiling them. In fact, it has been a tradition I vow never to break.
