Free Printable Chip Bags: Swiftie (Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour)

Free Printable Chip Bags: Swiftie (Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour)

It happened on a random day. It was the early 2000s and my dad was playing his radio as usual. Just as I was approaching him, the speakers blasted Teardrops on My Guitar and we both looked at each other and mouthed "ang ganda" (it's beautiful) as we didn't want to interrupt the song. We didn't have access to cable tv or the internet back then and I had no idea who was singing just that I would always look forward to hearing her on the radio. That's how this debut Swiftie was born and the rest is history. Seriously, I could go on but it'll take an entire day and I don't want this to end up like a novel! *laughs* Fast forward to three hundred takeout coffees later,  I've been trying to get tickets to the Taylor Swift: Eras Tour but I didn't survive the great war for any of the 2023 and 2024 stops. I designed some free printable chip bag templates as packaging for cookies that I was hoping to bake for fellow Swifties (ifykyk) or I could fill them with stationery that I designed. That was the idea. I didn't get the tickets and I was about to shelf this but I figured, why not share it? They could be fun for some Taylor Swift-themed parties!

Free Printable Chip Bags: Tomorrow x Together (TXT Act: Sweet Mirage)

Free Printable Chip Bags: Tomorrow x Together (TXT Act: Sweet Mirage)

Concerts are back and you know what else is fun aside from the actual shows? The fan community! The freebies, giveaways, trading, games, and activities have become such a fun way to interact and bond with fellow fans that it has become a tradition amongst concert goers. Last year, we gave away TXT Moabong sticker sheets and keychains for the Act: Lovesick in Manila. For Act: Sweet Mirage this year, I thought I'd make something that all MOAs can use for their Tomorrow x Together freebies so I created these free printable chip bag templates.

Free Printable Stickers: Pastel Journal and Planner Labels

Free Printable Stickers: Pastel Journal and Planner Labels (PDF printable and PNG for Silhouette Cameo, Cricut, Brother Scan N Cut, Siser and other die-cutting machines)

Free printable stickers anyone? I was initially playing with an old project's file and came across these unused shapes and elements. I figured that it would be best to put them to good use while I continue to practice during my break. Not to sound like a workaholic there. I just wanted to play and somehow make art that really has no purpose (at first). Just because and see if something comes out of it. Then I remembered this friend that I made through the internet many years ago (blogging at first and then eventually we found ourselves sharing BTS and Taylor Swift memes in our DMs). She has these planner and journal spreads and I thought it would be cool to make stickers for them. Of course they had to be pastel printable stickers. An ode to my teenage color palette.

DIY Paper Gift Bow Tutorial

DIY Paper Gift Bow Tutorial
"Brown paper packages tied up in string, these are a few of my favorite things!" That or presents with large festive ribbons. How do you like wrapping gifts? The holiday season is upon us and I bet you've been bitten by the Christmas bug too and went out and bought a gazillion presents for your loved ones. Unfortunately, your budget's gone low in the wrapping department. Well that or you just spaced and forgot to buy supplies. Worry no more because I've got something for you: DIY gift bows using pretty paper or recycled magazine pages!

Carnation Paper Flower DIY

Carnation Paper Flower DIY
I've been making DIY paper flowers for as long as I can remember. Don't get me wrong. I prefer fresh blossoms but some occasions just call for petals that never wilt. One of my go-to blooms would have to be these carnation paper flowers. They're easy and there's not much complexities involved. All you'd have to do is twist, twist and twist!

DIY Watercolor Pattern Paper

DIY Watercolor Pattern Paper | Anne's Scribbles and Doodles
When I threw my sister an Alice Rhob in Wonderland themed birthday party, I found myself on a quest for pretty and colorful patterned paper. I needed something vivid and at the same time a bit wacky for the invitations, the sign boards, the photo booth and the rest of the decorations. I specifically wanted a watercolor splattered design but I just could not find any so I decided to make them instead. Anyone up for a fun, quick and easy DIY?

Papemelroti Haul

Papemelroti Teapot and Teacup Postcard
Ever since I've been bitten by the DIY bug, my knack for cutesy assortments never faded away. It stuck like bubble gum and no matter how much I convince myself that I'm a craftaholic on the road to recovery, I always end up on the road to the craft store. Such was the case when I made Papemelroti a major item in my Manila travel itinerary.

Papemelroti Gift Shop and Going Artsy-Crazy

The smell of paper excites me. I like its texture, the smoothness or the roughness that go with each page. I love its color, the shades that go on and on in a rainbow that never ends. Paper compels me in a way. You know, the kind of compulsion that "fictional vampires" have the capability of. I know it sounds weird and cray but it's a hundred percent true. Blame my love for books and crafts for this addiction. Now, imagine my elation when I first stepped into Papemelroti last year all thanks to my cousin Ryche. I vowed to come back should I visit Manila again and I promised myself I'd snap photos too! And so I did.

Hi there lovelies! So in two day's time, 2013 is about to close and we'll say hello to 2014. I'm getting all excited here. How about you? To be frank, this year has been a blast for me. So much has ended (beautifully), so many begun and there were random bits of surprises here and there. So far, I could consider 2013 as my best year but then again there are more to come and I bet they would be far better than the previous ones so cheers to better days.

Back to School DIY with Washi Tape

Back to School DIY Washi Tape

The moment I saw these colorful delights, I was smitten away. You could call it love at first sight. LOL! I've been wanting to get my hands on some Washi tape this month but my budget just won't cut it. Pay day come faster, will you? Anyway, I've dabbled into some analytics these past few days. I found it so confusing at first but I'm slowly getting the hang of things. One thing that caught my eye though was the fact that majority of my readers come from the United States. To be honest I was blown away. I didn't know most of you reside in the other part of the globe. For that I'm very thankful so I decided to dedicate this blog post to you since I noticed that it's back to school season over there. To my other lovely readers who are already in the third month of the semester as is the case in my country, don't worry. These DIY ideas will still be applicable to all of you!

Father's Day Ideas: Fun Crafts

Father's Day DIY
A few days ago I posted some cute recipes to do for father's day. I must admit that I'm really having a hard time choosing which one I'll be doing come June 16th. Plus, the weather's really bad. There's full blown rain for the entire day! The sun barely peeks out. How am I supposed to do my grocery shopping? Gosh, I have to learn how to drive... soon. (Nerves go away!) Anyway I'll find a way to accomplish that but while the rain pounded outside, I decided to look for some fun crafts and projects to accompany whatever recipe my sister and I will be doing.

When Creativity Meets the Internet: My Favorite DIY Youtube Channels

A pair of scissors, a pinch of imagination, a good old camera and voila!
Lately, I've been watching too many YouTube videos. Over the two month summer vacation up until today I have practically seen a whopping 1, 214 videos! Approximately, that is. That amount only reflects the number on my watch history and does not include those I have viewed with my sister while her account was the one signed on. What have I been so engrossed about if you may ask? Make-up tutorials, vlogs and DIYs.
