Bengal Brew + Wolf and Bear Cafe

Bengal Brew + Wolf and Bear Cafe | Anne's Scribbles and Doodles
Wagging tails. Furry paws. Gentle eyes. Ready to go giddy all over? Pets are my absolute weakness, perhaps next to ice cream. When my best friends from Cebu came over to visit, I gave them quite a tour. As we traveled back to the city after a day trip in Tagaytay, we decided to rest and relax at this pet cafe we spotted in Cubao: Bengal Brew + Wolf and Bear Cafe.

Nook Cafe: Manila's Harry Potter Themed Cafe

Nook Cafe, Maginhawa Street: Harry Potter Themed Cafe
Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if only one knows where to find the best cup of butterbeer. Unfortunately, a plane ticket to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and not to mention to either Japan or London is outright impossible at the moment, much to my chagrin of course. If only I could utter "accio moolah" and money will fall unto my lap. *Sigh* But because Harry loves me and Hermione tinkered with some spells, a Harry Potter themed cafe magically appeared along Quezon City's Maginhawa Street! Obviously, my sister Rhob, cousin David and I hopped onto our Firebolts (aka our grandma's walis ting-ting) and dashed to the Nook Cafe in a heartbeat.

In today's digital world, snapping and sharing is the name of the game. Caption here, share there, hashtag everywhere so and so that when it comes to food fare, it's not just a game of exciting taste buds but a full on match of awakening the senses. Flavors. Presentation. Ambiance. Service. Experience.

Tomo Cafe = An Oishii and Kawaii Delight

Tomo Cafe
Thanks to the patient-eating sweat-inducing butt-numbing traffic jam I experience on a daily basis, I noticed this newly opened Japanese inspired place called Tomo Cafe. Yes, I'm actually thanking Mr. Traffic. High five! After lusting over it for weeks now, I finally got to experience their oishii dishes and kawaii wonderland! (Oishii is delicious while kawaii means cute in Japanese. I have to thank my Japan and anime obsessed friend for these words in my vocabulary.)

A Royal Treatment at Cafe Tiala

Cafe Tiala Cebu
After the week long hustles and bustles of a workaholic busy bee like me, I knew I needed some royal pampering. Luckily a new cafe recently opened up its doors called Cafe Tiala. From what I've heard the place is like a doll house with waitresses dressed in lolita costumes. Right then and there I knew I had to check the place out and of course I brought my other nobles with me.  Besides, no princess would want to spend a lovely afternoon all alone. The more the merrier! (That applies to both friends and food. LOL!)
