Living in a tropical country, I have always been a fan of sandals and flats. Add in my height, it would be safe to say that I rarely wear heels, wedges, platforms or anything that will add up to my already tall physique. If you're curious, I stand 5 feet and 7 inches. Here in the Philippines that's quite tall for a girl. Does that also hold true in your country?
Yesterday, I decided to treat my sister out for no apparent reason. I guess my goody-good-sister-genes kicked in. Haha. So we went to the mall, dined out, gone window shopping and played some arcade games. Yes, we're never too old for arcade. LOL. Our favorite would probably be that game where you'd have to throw these small balls at a screen and hit the target which could be anything really, depending on the theme you select.
When we finally decided to go home, we were greeted with super heavy rain. We had to take the public transport as our mom wasn't with us and so was our car. In short, we looked like unfortunate kiddos as it rained buckets, stranded inside the mall's walls. *sob* But we badly wanted to get home and watch this TV show! So we did what many didn't attempt to do, we went out and looked for a ride home. We got really soaked as we only had one umbrella available. Worse, my favorite strapped sandals got terribly drenched. Boo! As of this writing, I am still drying them hoping that no permanent damage was done. So to console myself, I decided to surf around the internet and my Pinterest board to look at all those pretty sandals. Just in case my favorite pair dies on me, at least I'd know what I'd like to buy. Still, I hope it recovers!
