Papemelroti Haul

Papemelroti Teapot and Teacup Postcard
Ever since I've been bitten by the DIY bug, my knack for cutesy assortments never faded away. It stuck like bubble gum and no matter how much I convince myself that I'm a craftaholic on the road to recovery, I always end up on the road to the craft store. Such was the case when I made Papemelroti a major item in my Manila travel itinerary.

As soon as I stepped into the shop, my eyes darted from one shelf to another. I wanted to get one of everything but given my budget and baggage limitations, I had to limit my purchase. I'd love to share with you what I got and as promised in my previous post, here is a little haul of sorts!

Papemelroti Paper Packs: Party Games, Query, Personal Time, Beauty in a Box
Papemelroti Paper Packs: Party Games, Query, Personal Time, Beauty in a Box
Let's begin with these paper packs. Each box holds forty seven cards with thoughts and ideas that revolve around various themes. I got five of them:

Query and Query 2 contain a series of thought provoking questions like "A machine invented can increase the size of anything by 100 times its original size. What will you place inside the machine?" It's like a chat pack. I thought it would be nice to have them around especially when friends, family or guests arrive. I'm pretty sure it can kill boredom and get everyone talking in no time.

Party Games as the name suggests contain various activities or parlor games that you can do with friends and family. It includes the materials needed, number of ideal players, complete instructions and game play variations. Since planning the Christmas reunion games was tough last year, I thought that this would come in handy!

Beauty in a Box is all about pampering yourself using natural products. Think about sugar and lemon as an exfoliant for example. I thought it would be cool to have a mini home spa.

Personal Time has to be my favorite. The label on the box instructs one to steal a tranquil moment or two in your day by picking one card. Each has an uplifting idea to chase the blahs or blues away. We all get stressed and burnt out and I am a firm believer that personal time is very important. This pack is such a charmer and oh so thoughtful. I love it!

I fell in love with these teapot and teacup post cards! Who wouldn't? They caught my eye the moment I entered the shop and I got one of every color. My sister asked me what I was going to do with all of them and if I would give them to someone. Honestly, I plan to use them in my future DIY and scrap booking projects. They would even look good framed on their own. Talk about hoarding!

Papemelroti Postcard: Don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle.
Papemelroti also has the square shaped postcards but I wouldn't dare call them regular. I love the art and design that has been incorporated in each one and not to mention those amazing quotes! The one above is my favorite. "Don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle." Never.

Papemelroti Postcard: Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.
Papemelroti Postcard: Reduce Stress. Laugh it Off.
Papemelroti Postcard: It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.
Papemelroti Postcard: The world is yours to explore.

For a little trip inside one of Papemelroti's branches and to see what other knickknacks this store holds, head on over to this post!

So what do you think? Do you have any favorites from this haul too? And if you're game for a little fun let's pretend that you drew a card from the Query paper pack that goes... "At a moment's notice you were given the chance to step into a talent duplicator machine which could duplicate any person's talent and make it yours for life. What talent would you pick and whose?"
