‘Tis the Season to be Sephora Glammin’

Sephora: Gold Glam Makeup Look | Anne's Scribbles and Doodles
Audrey Hepburn's iconic look in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" has a certain charm that gets you every single time. There's an enigma to it that screams magic. Sorcery or not, this classic makeup look is timeless beyond measure. Since the holidays are upon us (aka parties and family gatherings), here's a glammed up version that'll make you smolder and sparkle like the firework you are! You wouldn't want to look passé, "loshang" or "haggard", do you? Come on. What if you bump into your crush?

I'm no master when it comes to all things beauty. As I've mentioned before, I tend to suck at being a girl sometimes. That or I get lazy to pick up the eyeliner. Oopsies. So here's a massive shout-out to my dear cousin Remma who helped me come up with this look! Love yah. (She had training overseas at the Academy of Makeup so she happens to be the family's go-to beauty guru aka the MUA at every family event.)

Enough with my blabber; here's how you can achieve this smoldering Audrey-inspired holiday look!

BASE
Prepare your face by kicking things off with moisturizer. After which, apply primer by patting on problem areas and blending with your fingertips. (BENEFIT COSMETICS: The Porefessional)

Next, add and blend your foundation from the center of the face outward. (TOO FACED: Born This Way)

Spot treat problem areas such as spots, dark under-eye circles and the T-zone with a correcting concealer. (ZOEVA: Concealer Spectrum Palette)

FACE
Use powder to even your complexion and set your base and now it's time to sculpt your face! Place a brush with a darker contouring shade at the center of the ear, guide towards the tip of the nose and stop shortly before the corner of the eye. Lightly whisk the color remaining on the brush under the chin and on the hairline. Set highlights on top of the cheekbones, the back of the nose and the cupid's bow.  (ZOEVA: Contour Spectrum Palette with Powder, Contour and Highlight)

Apply a neutral or light peach blush. Since the eyes are the focal point of this look, the rest of the face has to be toned down. (ZOEVA: Coral Spectrum Blush Palette)

EYES
To ensure that your hard work doesn't budge all day, apply primer. (BENEFIT COSMETICS: Stay Don't Stray Eyeshadow Primer)

Fill your entire lid with a bronze or medium brown shadow (Puddin'). Brush a darker shade of brown or black (Licorice) onto the outer corner of your lid and sweep it up and over the crease. Continue with that same hue and add it under a third of your lower lash line. Apply a glittery shadow (Caramel or Bonbon) on the center of the lid and the remaining of your lower lash line. Blend away. (TOO FACED: Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar)

Line the upper lids with a liquid liner. Add a flick for a more dramatic look. (ZOEVA: Cat Eye Pen)

Curl your lashes and dab generous coats of mascara on the top and bottom lashes. If you want, you may also use falsies. (BENEFIT COSMETICS: They're Real! Lengthening Mascara)

Fill in your brows and blend with a spooley to do away with any harsh lines. As they say, those babies be better on fleek! (BENEFIT COSMETICS: Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil)

LIPS
Seal it with a kiss using a nude or brown lippie! (GUERLAIN: La Petite Robe Noire)

With a top bun and an LBD to match, you're ready to (jingle bell) rock! Enjoy the holidays looking glam and chic! Because apparently you need to be camera ready at all costs even if you're munching on the famous lechon.
