Magnum Manila Part 2: The Special Dessert Menu

Magnum Manila: Special Dessert Menu
Every time I sit down for a meal I always wish that I could skip everything and go straight for dessert! That's how fond I am of sweets, ice cream and baked treats in particular. So here's my question for all of you. How do you like your ice cream? On its own, on a brownie skillet, amongst cookies or drowned in strawberries? I'd obviously pick them all and I have to say that Magnum Manila's take on these dessert mashups are nothing but extraordinary and gastronomic!

As I've mentioned in my previous blog post, I enjoyed Magnum Manila twice in one day. Crazy huh? I just couldn't help but make the most out of my travel time in the Metro. I know I might not be able to come visit again stat so I  might as well make the most out of it and indulge. Yes?

The first one was with Kay and Kylie who I've met through Camille Co's birthday dinner last year. We made our very own Magnum bars and had a particularly hard time choosing which flavors and toppings to get. Oh dear, that was quite a struggle for our ice cream loving trio! Here is a photo of my DIY Magnum for your reference but you can check my previous post for complete details on that!

So for my second Magnum Manila experience...

Magnum Manila: Special Dessert Menu
Here I am with my mom. That's my younger sister sandwiched between the two of us and eagerly waiting for our indulgent treat. We ordered three dishes: the Cookie Dough Skillet, Death by Chocolate and Pink Friday.

Magnum Manila: Special Dessert Menu (Cookie Dough Skillet)
The Cookie Dough Skillet (₱ 250.00) is a warm chocolate chip cookie dough topped with two vanilla Magnum bars, dark chocolate and chopped pecans. Yum!

Magnum Manila: Special Dessert Menu (Death by Chocolate)
The Death by Chocolate (₱ 250.00) pretty much explains my life right now. Just kidding! This is served with a chocolate truffle Magnum resting on a deep dark chocolate lava cake topped with brownie pieces and chocolate crispearls. Basically, it lives up to its name.

Magnum Manila: Special Dessert Menu (Pink Friday)
The Pink Friday (₱ 290.00) is a strawberry marbled cheesecake on a bed of speculoos tea cookies and strawberry nerds, topped with a pink chocolate dusted vanilla Magnum and strawberry coulis. Now that's quite a mouthful!

Of course, the obligatory photo before we start to dig in!

Burp! Oops. Please excuse my overly happy food babies. *wink* Overall my Magnum Manila experience was such a blast. Every dish was exquisitely divine and heavenly. I couldn't even think of an appropriate adjective to properly describe them. Oh and did I mention that we all had this two hours before dinner time? Crazy family... I know.

PS: Read Part 1 of My Magnum experience here and see how we made our very own Magnum!

Magnum Manila is located at the Fifth Floor of SM Aura Premier, C5 Corner 26th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig and is open daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
